Last updated: September 9, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the "Kori POS" service. By creating an account or using the service, you fully accept these Terms.

Purpose

These Terms define the conditions under which the publisher makes the "Kori POS" service available to the user, as well as the rights and obligations of each party.

Service description

"Kori POS" is an online point-of-sale and management software (SaaS) for restaurants, bars and small businesses, including certified electronic invoicing compliant with the e-MECeF system of the Directorate-General of Taxes (DGI) of Benin. The service is offered under different plans described in the Terms of Sale.

Account and security

  • The user undertakes to provide accurate information when creating their account and to keep it up to date.
  • The user is responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials and for any activity carried out from their account.
  • Enabling two-factor authentication (MFA) is recommended. Any unauthorised use must be reported without delay.

User obligations

The user undertakes to use the service in accordance with the law and these Terms. In particular, the user shall not:

  • harm the security or integrity of the service;
  • attempt to access data they are not entitled to;
  • use the service for fraudulent or unlawful purposes;
  • reproduce, resell or exploit the service without authorisation.

The user is solely responsible for the accuracy of the data entered, in particular tax and accounting data.

Availability and maintenance

The publisher strives to keep the service available 24/7, subject to maintenance operations, updates and force majeure. Some features remain usable offline and synchronise when the connection is restored.

Intellectual property

The publisher grants the user a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service for the duration of their subscription. Data entered by the user remains their property.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". The publisher cannot be held liable for indirect damages, nor for the consequences of non-compliant use, erroneous entry by the user, or unavailability attributable to a third party (network, host, DGI). The publisher's liability is limited under the conditions set out in the Terms of Sale.

Suspension and termination

The publisher may suspend or terminate access in the event of a serious breach of these Terms, in particular fraudulent use. The user may stop using the service at any time, under the conditions set out in the Terms of Sale.

Changes to the Terms

The publisher may amend these Terms. Users are informed of substantial changes. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by Beninese law. Any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cotonou, subject to applicable mandatory provisions.
